Every family at Pickering Valley Elementary School is part of the Pickering Valley School Association (PVSA). PVSA is an all-volunteer organization that depends on donations of both resources and time to be successful. Towards the goal of enhancing the social and academic experiences of our children inside and outside the classroom, PVSA sponsors a wide variety of activities and events. We look forward to working with you!
Join PVSA for a Spook-tacular time at our annual Fall Ball. Enjoy a costume parade and much more!
PV families celebrate and educate attendees about their cultures with displays and food samples.
*This event is held every other year.
Join PVSA for breakfast, pictures with Santa, crafts, music, and much more!
Students visit the library to make wish lists and shop. Book Fair profits are used to purchase new library books for our school.
Bring the entire family to Bingo Night! Enjoy food, drinks, games and prizes.
This event is for every student who has an idea, invention or solution for our world today!
Students show off acting, dancing, singing, comedy and musical talents in March.
Other than the voluntary donation, this is the only PVSA fundraiser and it is also a great opportunity to play fun games, win cool prizes and enjoy delicious food with your fellow PV families!
Many hands are needed to create and assemble the raffle baskets, which provide an exciting finale to the Spring Fair festivities!
Teacher/Staff Appreciation Events
Several times each year, PVSA provides breakfast, lunches or treats to teachers & staff.
PVSA Art Show Chairs, along with parent volunteers, assist the Art teacher in mounting and displaying each student’s artwork for our annual Art Show.
Home and School Meetings
PVSA, our school’s Home and School Association, holds four meetings during the school year. All parents are invited and encouraged to attend.
