Watch D.O.G.S Program

Watch D.O.G.S Program

WATCH D.O.G.S.® (Dads Of Great Students) is a family and community engagement educational initiative.

There are 2 primary goals of the WATCH D.O.G.S. program:

1. To provide positive male role models for the students, demonstrating by their presence that education is important.
2. To provide extra sets of eyes and ears to enhance school security.

Fathers, grandfathers, step-fathers, uncles, and other father-figures can volunteer to serve one day at PV each year under the  guidance of our school principal. During the day, WatchDOGS will join their child's class for a brief visit and then help monitor students in the cafeteria and on the playground.

As with all of our volunteers, we require our WatchDOGS to have current clearances on file with the office.  Clearances are free to parent volunteers and the links to complete them online can be found here.  Clearances are valid for 5 years.
