Our Principal

Travis Orth is the Principal of Pickering Valley Elementary located in Downingtown, Pennsylvania. He has devoted his educational career to the Downingtown Area School District (DASD) where he taught K-5 Health and Physical Education at Pickering Valley starting in 2008,  transitioned to the Elementary Instructional Coach role 2017 and in 2018, Mr. Orth was named Assistant Principal of Lionville Middle School. He was named Principal of Pickering Valley in June of 2020.

Mr. Orth is excited to arrive and serve each day as the Principal of Pickering Valley Elementary School! His passion for creating and sustaining positive working relationships with students, staff and the community, in addition to creating a culture and climate where students and staff can thrive each and every day drives his desire to serve at PV!
